The Hamilton Financial Advisory Panel  was constituted 10 years ago. Chaired by Alex Hammond-Chambers, its main purpose is to stimulate thoughts on the investment challenges of the day and where appropriate, share these with our clients and on our website (under News). Needless to say, we are incredibly grateful to them for their counsel.

Earlier this year, we said goodbye to Angus Tulloch. Angus is not only a good friend, but a terrific contributor. I have never met anyone who didn’t like working with or for him. A man of the highest integrity, Angus has never been afraid to challenge mainstream consensus. His opinions on investment, politics, education and anything Scottish are always original, entertaining and refreshing. Thanks for everything, Angus, we shall miss you.

In his place we are honoured to welcome Anna Macdonald of Amati Global Investors.  Anna is an experienced fund manager, with a UK Equities specialisation.  Previously of Adam & Company (where she won multiple Lipper awards for best UK diversified fund), Threadneedle and Henderson, Anna brings over two decades of focused experience to the table.  We look forward to welcoming her to our next Panel meeting on 23rd November at the Grange Cricket Club, Edinburgh.
